Buleleng Regency Government Presents Priority Programs in the First 100-Day Work Plan

Buleleng - The Regent of Buleleng, Nyoman Sutjidra, together with the Deputy Regent of Buleleng, Gede Supriatna, and the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Gede Suyasa, have drawn up a work plan for the first 100 days of their term. The plan was submitted at a coordination meeting held at the Buleleng Regent's Official Residence on Thursday (6/3/2025).

After being inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, on February 20, 2025, Regent Sutjidra revealed that the priority program for the first 100 days will focus on five main sectors, namely food, clothing, education, health, and culture. Sutjidra hopes that these programs can have a direct impact on the welfare of the people of Buleleng.

In the field of education, Regent Sutjidra said that his party would prepare free school uniforms for new students at kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels who come from underprivileged families. “We want to ensure that children in Buleleng can access education without being constrained by cost issues, especially for school uniforms,” Sutjidra said.

In the health sector, Regent Sutjidra revealed that the Buleleng Regency Government will provide free ambulance and body storage facilities for the poor. “This program aims to ease the burden on families in need, especially in difficult conditions,” he added.

In terms of culture, Sutjidra is committed to preserving and fostering the legendary arts of Buleleng. This is in line with efforts to promote the arts as one of the tourist attractions in Buleleng. “We will stage local arts as part of tourism development in Buleleng,” said Sutjidra.

In addition, Regent Sutjidra also emphasized the importance of control and facilities for mobile traders in the new Singaraja market, as well as beautifying the Singaraja city area with the installation of decorative lights. “We want Singaraja to not only be a center of trade, but also a comfortable and beautiful city to visit,” he said.

Regent Sutjidra ended his speech by emphasizing the importance of synergy between local governments, communities, and all regional apparatus organizations (OPD). “All of these programs will be realized with collaboration and solid cooperation to create a more advanced and prosperous Buleleng,” he concluded.

With a clear work plan and the right priorities, Regent Sutjidra is committed to bringing positive change and progress to Buleleng Regency in his first 100 days of leadership. (Buleleng Regency MC/Wir)
